A Different Perspective on Cinema
Every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., join us at the IFM for the screening of a French or French-speaking film.
The film club aims to introduce audiences to auteur films, socially engaged documentaries, and independent fiction that deserve to be seen, shared, and discussed.
To allow as many people as possible to enjoy these screenings, all films are shown in their original version with English subtitles.
This choice opens the room to an English-speaking audience, a concrete way to make French-language cinema a space for encounters, curiosity, and intercultural dialogue.
A Selection of Films That Speak to Everyone
The films programmed explore universal themes: passion, family, life choices, as well as the personal and collective challenges that shape our lives.
Behind each story lie human journeys filled with emotion, tenderness, humour, and at times a hint of melancholy.
All these elements make these works inspiring and accessible to everyone, beyond cultural boundaries.
Each screening is an opportunity to step into a new world, discover unique stories, and travel through the eyes of filmmakers from diverse backgrounds.
A Weekly Gathering
Every Wednesday, the film club becomes a special meeting place to discover, learn, feel, and exchange around what the seventh art offers most profoundly: its ability to bring us together and make us reflect on the world around us.
