The DELF (Diploma in French Language Studies) and DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language) are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of National Education.
They certify your level of French, from A1 to C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Candidates can register directly at the level of their choice, according to their skills. The exams are clear, structured, and adapted to each level.

Results are communicated within a maximum of two months after the last exam. A preliminary certificate of achievement is sent by email. The official paper diploma, issued by the French authorities, is then available at the examination center for collection upon arrival.
Registrations are open for the September 2025 session (registration deadline: Saturday, August 2, 2025).

The DELF Prim is an official French language diploma, issued by the French Ministry of National Education. Designed for children (primary school students), it is adapted to their age and school level (A1.1 – A1 – A2), with themes and activities specially designed for younger learners.

The DELF Scolaire is an official French language diploma, recognized internationally and issued by the French Ministry of National Education. It is intended for secondary school students, under agreements between French embassies and local educational authorities.
In Mauritius, thanks to an agreement between the French Embassy and the Ministry of Education, the DELF B2 Scolaire is organized every year in July by the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate. Grade 12 and 13 students can register through their school.
L’Institut français de Maurice offers preparation courses and practice exams to help candidates become familiar with the exam and maximize their chances of success.
